- Thanks to Mary H, Amanda, and Paula M, our print collection is being assembled. Interestingly, COM-P will require students to only buy, on their own, the anatomy atlases, so the library will be acquiring for reserves, multiple copies of the texts that are recommended and required readings. This will shape the bulk of the collection to begin.
- We plan to add e-versions of books and journals that will benefit both campuses
- The COM curricula is being finalized day by day
- Students may have the option of purchasing books from either ASU or UA bookstores
- UA med students will have the option of using either the downtown ASU library at Central and Van Buren (5 blocks west) or the AHSL-P
- We are in the midst of the ASU campus so we anticipate being used by ASU nursing students once they find us!
- Our students will be organized into Learning Communities in which the library staff will have integral teaching and consulting roles. We will also be involved in teaching Biomedical Informatics to students who are both ASU and UA-affiliated.
- We continue to work to identify further ASU collaboration activities
