Publicity for PHRILS & PILS
For three days during the first week of classes Annabelle and Jennifer set up a table in the Drachman Hall courtyard to publicize the library liaison services now called the Public Health Research and Information Liaison Service (PHRILS) and the Pharmacy Information Liaison Service (PILS). They had around 250 visitors to this very successful event. Here are some photos:



Fourth Floor
Study carrels and tables have been moved up to the south end of the fourth floor. In addition, some of the moveable whiteboards have been anchored to the room dividers. All of the moveable furniture has been relocated to the north side of the room. The cloth on the carrels is awaiting cleaning. Once clean they will be available for use. So far some students are using the space as we envisioned it – as a quiet study area. Run up and see it if you have a chance.

Mari in MEZCOPH

We now officially have two library liaisons in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. Mari has moved into her new office/cubicle right across the aisle from Annabelle. Together they make up PHRILS – The Public Health Research and Information Liaison Service. Here are some pictures of Mari in her new digs:

A photo tour of Pharmacy & Public Health

Ever wonder where, exactly, Mari, Jennifer and Annabelle are when they're over in Pharmacy and Public Health? Here's a quick photo tour to see them.

Start out by walking up the "mall" toward Bio5 and you'll see the College of Pharmacy.

Head up the stairway on the northwest corner of the building (the first one you see).
Go in the door on the second floor (it's three flights up!)
Once inside, turn right and go through this door.
Staying to the right you'll soon spot Jennifer's cube.
And here's Jennifer!
After seeing Jennifer you can head across the building to the bridge that connects the College of Pharmacy to the College of Public Health. Once you cross the bridge you'll see a sign on your right.
Bear to the right, the a quick left after you pass the mailboxes and you'll come to Annabelle's office.

Here are two of our remote liaisons conferring with each other about some important matter.
And across the aisle from Annabelle's office is Mari's cube. Mari's on vacation so I'll get some photos when she returns.

Mari, Pat, Publicity!

Mari Stoddard is moving to MEZCOPH!
Our liaison outreach program to the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health has been very successful. Annabelle has built up a loyal clientele and has more “business” than she knows what to do with. Mari Stoddard will be joining Annabelle as a second, half-time, liaison to MEZCOPH. We are finalizing desk/office space for her right next to Annabelle’s current location.

Pat has moved again!
Pat Auflick has moved from the 2nd floor to the first. She is now in the office that Shanna used to occupy. Stop by and see her new digs. Pat may have edged out Mari for the record number of office moves!

We have not heard if COM Information Technology Services is going to accept our proposal to create a help desk in the Java City area. If this plan moves ahead, Mary, Jennifer and Annabelle will move into the former Systems Offices. If not, we’ll consider other uses for Pat’s former office.
